Rebecca Pope

Rebecca and the St. Timothy’s Choir provide our parish with amazingly beautiful mass settings that greatly enhance our worship services.  The settings are different for each liturgical season.

The music is entwined closely with the Liturgy. It serves as support and reinforcement of the Scriptural and Ceremonial acts functioning within the Liturgy.  Gregorian Chant and choral works, based on the same, provide the norm for musical selection.

The major responsibility for the musical portions of the Liturgy lies primarily with the congregation in the execution of hymns, motets, and anthems. The selection of Choral music depends upon the need of the specific liturgical occasion. Sources are found primarily in the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque-Classic periods, though no period of music history is neglected.

Altar Guild
Directoress: Betsy Acker

The Altar Guild is the group of women who meticulously care for the vestments and vessels of the altar. It is very rewarding work; for by so doing, we have "touched the hem of Our Lord's garment."

Daughters of St. Timothy
President: Judy Grimada

The Daughters of St. Timothy is an Order for women of the church. Every Daughter pledges herself to a lifelong program of prayer, service and personal evangelism, dedicated to the extension of Christ's kingdom.

Catholic Church Women
President: Judy Grimada

Our purpose is to assist the women of the Catholic Church to carry on Christ's work of reconciliation in the world and to take their place as leaders in the life, governance and worship of the church. We provide spiritual growth & nourishment, fellowship, education, leadership training and opportunity for service.

Altar Servers
Director: Chris Christian

The Altar Servers are very important at St. Timothy's. They assist the priest at mass, and add to the reflection of our traditional and historical method of worship. Our servers are, perhaps, the most "professional" in the Diocese, and are a special credit to our parish.

A parish pot-luck lunch follows the 2:00PM mass on the first Sunday of each month.  Visitors are always welcome as our guests. The ad-hoc Hospitality Committee prepares for and serves at receptions and banquets for a myriad of occasions throughout the year. Parishioners volunteer to host and clean up after Coffee Hour each Sunday.

We certainly welcome anyone wishing to join any of our guilds or groups. St. Timothy's is a "Christian Community of care and concern under Christ." The only thing we can see that is missing is YOU !
